What are the blind things from pitch black?
Wait - so if I buy it, then the music here might not even be the music that is in the movie as the conductor may have been replaced?
No actually, as I say in my previous post I think that ..
Spoiler
The pede means like Stampede, and the hammer part comes from the shape of the heads of the ass-flower. So we get essentially a bunch of ass-flowers running around the ship and everyone running away.
Just a thought about this hammerpede thing...
1) Would people agree that it may refer to a creature we have not yet seen in the trailers?
2) Is is fair to say that 'pede' (strictly speaking) means something with feet (i.e., not a snake)?
3) Is is plausible that 'hammerpede' implies a creature with feet and perhaps a hammer-shaped head, not unlike our old xeno friend (but not the xeno itself, as we are told this is not in the movie).
Thoughts?
You've seen some very weird hammers...
kinda looks like hammer....
Or it may not refer to the hypersleep of the Prometheus crew....
The score will be recorded, edited and the final movie locked, printed and ready for distribution by now.
Unless Prometheus escapes the planet, the surviving crew (apart from David) go back into hypersleep again, and then... things happen...
With less than 2 weeks till release date? im pretty sure the final score has been recorded and edited into the film. To be honest i would say that the film is complete and is currently in the process of being in print for the cinemas. If not then it will be shortly

Gregson-Williams is great, though his work is usually scored for military thrillers. Professional level, all the way, though... I think his presence can only improve what they have already.
The Hammerpede is my penis.

Queen Zero?
I certainly hope so. None of the music presented so far in the trailer's and featurette's have worked for me

I don't think we do know that. The tracks do not necessarily come in the same order as the cues are used in the movie.
Notice that the hypersleep and small beginnings are over half-way down the list, and we would expect the events associated with such titles to occur earlier.
at least we know now that the collision is at the end... so nothing spectacular after it
:/
Wooo, they didn't tell me there was going to be a hammer-headed giant centipede!

Track 2 Parker to Brett, "alright, we're goin' in.... we're going in"
Track 4 Kane, looking at the egg, "there's movement, it appears to have life"
Just for fun, track 17, Newt to Ripley, "Moooommmy!"
I guess track 11 refers to the ass-flower...
I like these track names, which of course may not represent the order the cues appear in the film. Plus, knowing the way Ridley's previous films have 'mucked around' with composer's score (Alien, Legend etc) then the score we hear in the movie theatre may bear little relation to what's on this CD.
Clever, but it always start out with track 16, if going 'chronologically' about it...
Clever, but
Spoiler
I think you meant to say track 7 there, Bat Chain
Wonder if these are listed in chronological order, because if so... damn...
Awaiting small teasers of what they actually sound like...
Also, is it just me or did they push the release date back a week? Wasn't it originally June 5th?
Spoiler
I'm betting that asterisk denotes HGW's composition!
