An official Facebook app has been launched for Prometheus. It’s sort of an interactive starmap and there’s a few hidden production stills worth checking out.

i don't know, why fox release this pic anyway. are you feeling comfortable to know exactly who dies in this particular scene, even before seeing the movie? that's spoilery terrain isn't it?

We don't know if they get killed. They could easily be asked by the captain to evac once the course is plotted.

It's either a simple mistake - or, we may yet actually see that actual Weyland-Yutani logo in the film.

Shaw has invested so much and traveled so far, and then the ceiling of this temple that she discovers morphs to reveal an image of a renaissance-like biblical scene. Unfortunately, instead of a muscled man or a chubby baby at the end of the pious humanoid's arm, she see a god-damned Giger monstrosity. Perhaps it is here that she realizes that something is severely wrong?

Basically, we should be getting something Project Prometheus related through that Facebook app this Wednesday. Their tweets especially seem to hint at them being interconnected.
Yeah...Ridley did mention how he likes to re-use sets in films...one of the video interviews I think he mentioned scenes from Gladiator and using the same pillars/room from two different angles as two different locations in the film.
Since these two angles are very similar...either it is the same place (in the film) or he's trying to convey a common design element in both places.

Thanks, I'm actually pretty pleased with how the avatar and sig combo turned out. I added a flare in both of the images and tweaked the colours and brightness levels to give this impression that Ripley could be gazing at the Derelict in the sig. If people don't get that from it, well then I can only hope it looks cool.

Hear, hear! It's become a little too quiet around these parts. Frankly I should be glad we're not getting spoilers left, right and center but at the same time it's nice to have something juicy to speculate over.

one can have a sense that this star/data map is the worlds they have engineered/help evolve. if they do this to some civilizations in earth, this invitation map can be in another planets also, so they just waiting for sufficient evolve races to reach them. the purpose i dunno but the ampules can be an easy answer.
