In related news, there’s a minor interview with Guy Pearce on CineMovie. He doesn’t say a whole lot, just that Prometheus is a stand-alone movie. There’s another interview with Prop master Grant Pearmain in MovieScope Magazine. His company made the life-support units inside the characters’ spacesuits. That was very outdated. What we've seen in the media and trailers recently indicates the head to be in the temple, and the ship to be elsewhere entirely.
we had the "there's a giant head piloting the ship" i guess it's not a remote, but a pilot on the actual ship, not in the temple, but i'm not sure

The mound/ temple/whatever is a bit of a conundrum thus far...it appears to have 4 entrances at it's base leading to the central chamber with a vertical shaft ( imagine) leading to the summit, as well as a seeming spiral tunnel twisting about through much of the interior...neither seem to reach the top...but I suppose this could be in the midst of the survey-scan...
The wait for this film is excruciating (but in a GREAT WAY!!).

Snark I hear you amid the gay slurs and Tapir talk... looking at that pic I am wondering about the wall/door in the background with the big "Caution, explosive (something)" written on it. Not something you would logically have in a mess hall. Explosive breakfast? Seems odd.

Those images of Vickers are beautiful! That one of her in what looks to be a lobby of some kind is stunning. Almost like a throwback to 2001: A Space Odyssey.
That behind-the-scenes image of her with the flamethrower is awesome!
But my favourite has to be the one where she's standing near the hologram and you can see it reflecting off her suit.
It looks to be the same scene shown in the DDM2DDM2 picture. She aims here flamethrower at Holloway as he and the others return to the Prometheus. Quarantine procedures?
