Today I watched Godzilla 1984 also.

Great movie.  I hope it comes out on DVD in America soon.

It is set for DVD release in 08 last I read.

Really?  By whom?  Classic Media has been releasing a load of Godzilla movies.

I just got back from seeing The Golden Compass. It was mediocre at best and made the mistake of trying to cram in a ton of information and characters in under two hours, which made it difficult to follow. It does feature an awesome grudge match between two armored polar bears that ends in a surprisingly gruesome victory. It's literally a "jaw-dropping" moment.  ;)
