I take it there's no criteria for what to share, just 'good channels?' Okay, I have a guy who hopefully blows up more soon, because he's one of the best channels I've run across in years.

Night Mind

He reviews/deciphers/chronicles the many creepy mysteries of the internet. Anything from obscure Alternate Reality Games to well-known things like Don't Hug Me I'm Scared. If it's creepy and online, he's there. Even if you've already seen a video breakdown of something he's covered, his breakdowns tend to be more thorough and convincing.

I know a lot of people don't like his voice, but I love it. It's soothing.

I can vouch for Oliver Harper; his retrospectives/reviews are entertaining and informative for both casual fans and those interested in the art and production of cinema, like me!

The anger of Charlie Green is transfixing. On YouTube, where Green goes by the name Angry Grandpa, he yells about politicians, the IRS, the cable company, the pope, his ex-wife, and any number of other things that stick in his sizable craw. His voice splits the difference between Yosemite Sam and a high-strung Tom Waits.

When Green gets really mad, he smashes things. In five years of making online videos, Green has destroyed eight computers, a television, an entire set of kitchen appliances, armloads of groceries, and more cell phones than he can count. "I've been wild all my life," Green says. He's sitting in his mobile home at a kitchen table, which is in much better condition than the one he obliterated with a hammer in a recent video, and from all appearances, he is calm. No one can sustain the kind of fury that Green displays in his videos, and surely part of the Angry Grandpa character is an act. My mission is to find out exactly how much of it is an act.

Left to his own devices by an alcoholic, absentee father and languished with physical and pathological abuse from his mother on a daily basis as a child, a young Steven Williams had it rough. The Fayetteville, Arkansas native grew up in such a dysfunctional household life that it would make Arrested Development's Bluth family look like The Brady Bunch. Williams' only escape was also his shackle: food.

"I was born into a home where I was unwanted and tortured. I mean literally tortured," he recalls. "Burned, cut, stabbed, choked, you name it. Food was the only comfort I had."

But if the freshman and sophomore years of Williams' life drew a grimace to his face, his junior and senior would only get meaner. Suffering financial and medical turmoil during his mid-30s, Williams was rejected from over 200 jobs in large part due to his morbid obesity being a health insurance liability, clocking in as high as nearly 550 pounds.

"I was socially isolated, and the only money I received was through disability support," he says.

Despondent and desperate, it wouldn't be enough for Williams to get even with his troubles — he had to pull ahead of them.

My absolute favorite podcast and the only one I know of that delivers 3 shows a week at around 2 hours each. I'll link some clips.

Sleepycast

It would be above DP if it was on a schedule. Episodes come out seemingly randomly, and it's the process of shutting down, unfortunately, but the backlog is something I listen to multiple times. It's one of the most insane things I've ever listened to. Weapons grade autism. Here're some animated clips.
