YES! newts tale was the first Alien comic i ever read and it was primary cause of the beautiful cover.

Can't say I was fond of Newt's Tale but I love these covers.

Those covers are wonderful, I always wanted to get newts tale as a kid, what a bummer to find out all these years later that the comic was not very good. Same with deadliest of the species, I would have killed for that series when I was young, my imagination was on fire  just looking at all that great cover art, fast forward to a week ago and I'm reading the lit section here that the DotS series is the worst ever.
