Now im not saying Shavsre is one of them because its your opinion and i respect that but i think theres alot of people who just say it for the sake of being controversial. While i agree somewhat with people who say Begins was better i think Begins is massively underrated compared to The Dark Knight.
Personally i think weve been lucky with the 3 main incarnations of the Joker onscreen. Nicholsons was perfect for Burtons Batman as was Ledger for Nolans. For me though Hamills joker takes the biscuit. He was excellent, and when i imagine the joker, his voice is the one to come into my head.
Don't get me wrong, I think the transformation Ledger went through when he became the Joker was excellent. I never thought of him as Heath Ledger when I was watching the movie. Had I not known it before I saw it I would never have guessed it was him.
With that being said, I didn't like the Joker character in The Dark Knight. I didn't like his looks, the way he talked or the way he constantly smacked his lips while doing it. His make-up didn't look like a smile and I want my Joker to look insanly happy, like he does in the comics.
I saw the movie on the premiere day, before the whole hype started and I didn't like his performance then either. It just annoys me every time I watch the movie.
