Michael Fassbender shows musical skills in new Alien: Covenant production still. It’s a new day in the Alien: Covenant teaser trailer pre-release week and you know what that means! Another production still courtesy of the Alien Anthology social media accounts, this time of Michael Fassbender with a piano.

Those of you who read our exclusive report about Guy Pearce’s appearance in Alien: Covenant might recognize this imagery. Whose haven’t can read up on it here. Beware spoilers for the opening sequence of the film.

Unlike the last four production stills, today’s still doesn’t come with any numbers. Yesterday’s number yielded a result in the GPS co-ordinates theory. Wednesday and Thursday’s numbers led to a location near Fada, Chad. Fada is well known for ancient cave paintings and the imagery matched up quite nicely with Prometheus. However, they could simply be time stamps indicating when the stills were taken – another popular theory.

The agonizing for the Alien: Covenant teaser trailer continues. We’re expecting to see it released at the weekend, likely Christmas Eve or Christmas Day depending on where you are in the world.

On closer inspection im now getting the impression that it is walter and not david sitting at the piano. The hair gives it away. Also now, there are just dashes on no numbers...does this mean that there is no more code/dates/timestamps to be given out and that we are at the end of this pictorial teasing phase?? Trailer to,oz would be lovely.

Perhaps he wasn't like others. But then why they introduced David 8 as a blond?

Because Weyland's personal David liked blonde hair and dyed his hair back then (imitating the the hair of his favorite film character),  even before the mass production of David8 model. This scene probably took place just after the creation of first model/ Weyland's personal David.
