In case any of you don't recognise the scene, it's the historical flashback. The sacrificial maiden was portrayed by Karima Adebibe, who, just two years later, went on to become the official likeness of Lara Croft. Ironic, in that respect, that the first of the AVP films depicted her dying in a tomb other characters would be raiding in the far-flung future.
