The last movie I watched was Day of the dead man that was a great zombie movie.

The Black Cat (1934)

It never fails to surprise me just how f**ked up this movie is, especially by 1934 standards.

Logan

Apart from a few small niggles here and there, this was one f**king great piece of work.

Spoiler
Also, surprise Deadpool short.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them. Fun film and good to see the Potter universe still has plenty of life left in it.

Katherine Waterston put in a rather quirky and cute performance in that film and the irony was not lost on me when you hear her calling out the main characters name ... Newt ;-)

Logan

Easily the best film that I have had the pleasure of seeing so far this year. 10 out of 10, I couldn't possibly recommended it enough.

^ This stupid piece of shit about badly behaved teenagers from space just gets better as it gets older.  It's that rare genre piece that actually improves with age.

It's still a stupid piece of shit, but man, does it deliver.

Hell Comes To Frogtown

Steve Wang did some creature designs for this movie. Round about the same time he worked on Predator.

The Lego Batman Movie
I really enjoyed this. So bountiful in its Easter Egg goodness. Although the end was ruined by a group who came in right at the very end, making noise, talking and shining the lights from their phones looking for seats. Turns out they'd tried to get their young kid in to see Logan and tried to hide in Batman when that failed. Got a free ticket to see any film i want, so i will save that for a 3D Imax film lol

The Hunt
A compelling Drama about the Mass Hysteria that can be whipped up when someone is falsely accused of child molestation.

Logan
Damn. What a movie, this is the Wolverine film we've been waiting for. The best X-Men universe movie since X-2. So many references i would loved to have heard more about as well lol
Spoiler
The only niggle i have is that X-24 should have been Sabretooth, but that's personal opinion. Also there is no other way the film could have ended. It has heading to that point

Went to see John Wick 2 last night. Just as fun as the first. Pure shoot-out, action porn. Loved it.

John Carter.

Yes it crashed badly at the box office but I enjoyed this film - it's fun, well made and nothing too taxing on the brain.

Whilst we've seen a lot of the set pieces and visuals in so many films down the years, I am well aware of the source material inspired so many of those films.

I've never read the books but curious by those who have on their thoughts.

Stephen King's A Good Marriage
A great adapt of King's Novella, written by the man himself. Just some great performances here
