Though we’re very glad to finally have a physical disc release for the hit Predator film Prey, and we praised the excellent picture and sound in our review of the 4k blu-ray, the behind the scenes materials left a bit to be desired, as is unfortunately more common with today’s movie releases.
But we did end up seeing a good bit of behind the scenes photos and videos released by the cast & crew after the film’s release last year. Now thanks to the creature effects workshop that brought the ‘Feral’ Predator to life, we have a new 18 minute video showing the monster’s journey from concept to film set.
While StudioADI is no longer operating as it was – Alec Gillis is now managing his own FX workshop under the name StudioGillis and Tom Woodruff Jr. is pursuing personal creative projects – we finally have a new upload to the StudioADI YouTube Channel! Check out the full video below
There are quite a few other videos on the StudioADI YouTube channel showing their work on the Alien, Predator and AVP franchises in detail. Check out their playlists here!
