Yeah, no. They need to fix everything else before textures, which in my opinion is the least of the problems. I care about gameplay not looks., although it can be annoying when they take their time loading. Glad for the score board fix, but they need to fix up that Lurker pounce glitch.

I dunno about Sega vs Gearbox but 25 Timegate employees got layed off a couple days ago so the wheel of fate has started turning.
Ya know that makes me wonder if Timegate did the patch and now Gearbox has to finish it which is why its not rolling out on all platforms at once lol :p

Yeah, I read about that. It's a shame. Some people deserve to lose jobs and some don't. They are a small studio that was in over their head (aka worked on ACM on the cheap). Good outsourcing, Gearbox. You lousy f**ks.

Also, is the fact the camera before a round begins and after a round finishes supposed to pan and stop like that? With all the other faults, I can't be sure about this one lol. Either way, I'm happy they're trying to fix problems and Gearbox hasn't left the game to die outright.
With the amount of bugs in the game, I'm sure the list of potential fixes is staggering. At least they've patched something, and hopefully this means they'll keep up support until the end of the DLC run.
New Xeno appearance customization eh? Have to check it out. The multiplayer scoreboard hang was also devilishly awful, that's a good thing to fix right away.
Every time you hit back to check the scores, the game freezes for like 1-2 seconds. I've gotten killed a few times trying to check the scores. God do they need to work on the wall-walk and pounce freeze. I mean seriously.
Some damage tweaks are also in order. Pump shotguns can kill in 1 shot, and so can Spitter attacks somehow? I don't understand how this happens since I've never been able to kill someone with 1 shot from a Spitter...

As much as I love Rip's Flamethrower, I have to say half the time I try to use the flame in close range when someone jumps at me, it literally stops working. It sputs out a small flame and I have to click the Left trigger a few times before I get a steady stream. But usually at that point, I die.
Quote from: RagingDragon on Mar 08, 2013, 05:01:48 PMCould that be because of the bludgeon attack? Thats the only time I've seen something like this happenQuote from: PRJ_since1990 on Mar 08, 2013, 04:45:32 PM

I have this problem when I'm firing the pulse rifle sometimes. I'll get hit by an Alien in melee, and my rifle just stops firing even though I'm holding the trigger down. This allows the Alien to just follow me and claw me to death. I never release and repress the trigger fast enough, but it only happens once in a great while.

This shows that a couple companies are catching on to how this whole consumer thing works.
I have to say ive got more respect for EA and co. right now. All of a sudden their separate service required to even play their games feels less like a chore and more like a safety net if they are willing to step up to face problems like this. We can only hope Gearbox is paying attention. I am happy.

How about the f**king finish A:CM first? They don't have any idea how pissed Alien fans are with them. Those idiots.Quote from: Aceburster on Mar 10, 2013, 06:17:29 PMQuote from: RagingDragon on Mar 10, 2013, 05:59:08 PM
And all they did was mess up with the online DRM at launch. The game itself actually sounds like it's great and a lot of work went into it!
FML.
I am happy.

Quote from: JokersWarPig on Mar 11, 2013, 05:39:12 PMTrue, but considering how horribly messed up A:CM is, and the bullshit they pulled during it's development cycle, they should focus all their assets on getting us the game they stroked their egos about.Quote from: Bio Mech Hunter on Mar 11, 2013, 05:22:06 PMQuote from: Grey_Yautja on Mar 11, 2013, 02:25:34 AMThat, and they just announced the next DLC pack they're working on for Borderlands 2. Gearbox is definitely populated by idiots, but game companies usually have set teams to work on each individual game.

After the latest patch, the animated SEGA logo at the beginning is gone now when you boot up the game. Anyone else notice it missing?

Is this on Xbox or Ps3? Ive still got the logo on the splash screen and the first animation sequence on pc. Would be hilarious if Sega actually wants their name off of it lol. There is a set of Sega emblems for customization waiting to be unlocked and I wonder if they will see the light of day now hahaha.
