The casting lineup for Alien: Romulus continues to be revealed. According to exclusive reporting from Deadline, actor and music artist Isabela Merced has joined the cast of Fede Álvarez’s ‘Alien: Romulus.’
Merced shared the Deadline post to her Instagram, and given her wording, I think we can safely say this is confirmed.
Merced has numerous film and soundtrack credits including for Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Transformers: The Last Knight, and more recently the Netflix film Sweet Girl.
Deadline also previously broke that actor Cailee Spaeny is starring in the upcoming standalone Alien film. The film is reportedly already in production at Origo Studios in Budapest. Details surrounding the filming have remained tight, but we’ve started to see more information come to light including the confirmation of the film’s cinematographer being Galo Olivares, as well as some leaked audition videos now taken down.
