Movie Infos has just posted up the first official AvP2 image. Check it out:
This picture is our first look at the new Aliens style aliens in AvP2 as well as the Predator, which goes back to the look of the original. It looks pretty damn good in my humble opinion. You can check out the full size ...[Read More]
Another week, another interview. This time we're bringing Ian Whyte to your screens! Most of you might remember Ian Whyte as the man behind the Predator's mask for Alien vs Predator and has currently finished AvP2. I recently got the chance to interview him:
"AvPGalaxy - Were there many changes to the suit for the second film that might have made ... [Read More]
Eight new high-quality behind-the-scenes pictures from Alien vs Predator 2 have surfaced. These were taken by somebody called "Mussels" last October on the AvP2 set in Port Moody. You can find them in the AvP2 Gallery. Here's one of them which shows the Coyote, an Armoured Vehicle with some other army vehicles in the background:
The images range from props ... [Read More]
I hope this turns out to be true as I didn't like the orange predator vision at all in the first AvP. A thread was created on the IMDB Boards asking if the predators will use the same blue thermal vision from Predator 1 and 2. AvP2 co-director Colin Strause replied with "You'll be happy.". Yeah, okay it's ... [Read More]
Obsidian developer, J.E. Sawyer, has been talking with fans over at the Obsidian forum. There he's been releasing little tidbits of information:
"One thing that I want to state is that while this game needs to have things that make it recognizably an RPG, I think there are some RPG conventions that would feel/seem really corny in the relatively realistic Alien ... [Read More]

One of the main criticisms of the first AvP was the Predator designs. A lot of people were disappointed with the look of the face designs as well as the bulkyness of the Predators. As we found out a while ago, the Predators will be re-designed from scratch for AvP 2 and I've been sent a few more details about ... [Read More]
I was just looking in the IMDB Cast/Crew List for AvP2 and found an interesting entry:
Ian Seabrook .... underwater camera operator
So perhaps there will be an underwater scene in AvP2. Maybe a car or something crashes into a river or a lake. Makes sense I guess. AvP2 was filmed in Port Moody and Coquitlam amongst other cities which are ... [Read More]
Looks like the UK will be getting some new Alien and Predator DVDs. DVDActive reports that Fox plans to release Alien, Aliens and Predator as Definitive Edition DVDs. Any additional special features are unknown but I think it'll be pretty hard to top the special editions already out. The Definitive Edition DVDs go on sale 5th March 2007 ... [Read More]
AvP2 co-director, Colin Strause, posted something interesting on the IMDB Boards a few hours ago. He says they are in editing now and "heavy" visual effects work will begin on the film in January.
