If Conners was that guy who fell in the shaft/maze the second time the pyramid reconfigured, he didn't get captured for breeding. I remember reading he died from a head bite.

I think you're thinking of Verheiden. It was implied that he was killed by a head-bite but we later see him coconned. Connors was dragged away.

No, I wasn't. I know he wasn't because I saw his body with a facehugger on him later.  I'm talking about the guy who was screaming to Verheiden to save him after the first Pred attack in the pyramid.
