There's a brief bit of metal in Alien 3 that really works, with an electric guitar.

When ripley almost gets raped?

I say no.

Metal just isnt alien or predator style.
They arnt Jason KILL KILL KILL BLOOD HAHAHAHAHA!

Metal can really make things look silly.
Like in 300, theres a quick bit of "hardcore music" when the spartans are walking forwards in slow
motion (the "whips crack" "barbarians howl" bit) It makes me cringe its so silly.

The small cues that we hear when Ripley's almost raped and when the Alien advances on Dillon work well with the rest of Goldenthall's music. I'm not saying the whole movie could be done like that, but I see no reason why there couldn't be snippets of it.

that's what i was saying it could have a score...and some tidbits of songs

Porkus Maximus

Are those pieces of music part of the unique score or are they actually clips taken from existing songs?

Alien 3 had the best music in my opinion...
Especially the music we hear when we get the montage of the company shutting the prison down.

All Alien movies have a good soundtrack, but i agree with you, the best are the Alien 3 and the Aliens soundtrack, but i can't decide which one is better.
