Well, at least we're getting something. Hope it's a cool comic.
Usually these one-shot comics have how many pages?

Also, here's a quote from Trachtenberg about the comic:

"Badlands is the first Predator movie to draw inspiration so heavily from the comic books. So it's with great delight that you and I now get to look at splash pages, from the minds of Ethan and Elvin, of a formative adventure for our characters that serves as a perfect companion to the film," Trachtenberg raves. "Dek kicking ass in his very own comic book is a dream come true."

Probably, but knowing Marvel there's going to be a couple of variant covers.

Yeah, this one just looks uninspired. Also is Dek wearing combat boots? please tell me no.

I think it so.  The little blurb from Dan adds more confirmation to the direction that he's taking with the Predators (going in the EU direction - which we kind of all surmised to begin with anyway.)

I'm pretty interested in seeing whatever this mechanical... creature? android?... ends up being. I'm guessing that this ship isn't of human origin, so it's probably some shipboard AI for some alien race?

Dek seems to really like that sword.

Could be something connected to an already established Marvel villain of alien origin.

That makes sense and Id prefer that considering Dek is wearing human styled combat boots.

He hasn't earned his wrist blades yet, so he's working with what he's got.

I see so this comic is a prequel to Badlands and I guess another training mission or proving ground?

Aesthetic of the creature(?) is giving Bayformers.
