I'm guessing the Fly will be about that new flying creature that was shown in the Gestation clip.

Wasn't there a Breaking Bad episode with that name?

As NA said just Fly, directed by Rian Johnson. Very interesting episode.

The Fly's definitely an allusion to David Cronenberg's film imo.

I get the impression after seeing this, that the ship won't crash land until the final episode? :/

"The Fly"

As literally species 005 can be seen with literal wings, we're absolutely getting a xeno with wings of some sort.

Well, 8 is not a bad number. I would like a first season of 10 or 12...but there are some shows of just 6 eps out there. Im fine with it im suppose.

More like, we won't learn the full details about what was going on on the ship until close to the end of the season.

The ship crashing up front is the inciting incident that kicks off the major events of the series. What happened on the ship, where the Aliens came from, why the ship was on its mission, etc. seem to be among the major mysteries that the show will keep up its sleeve for a while, and slowly dole information out about piecemeal as the season builds towards its finale (not unlike Lost's treatment of the plane crash, which it kept circling back around to from different perspectives and vantage points).

That's likely. Characters from the ship like Morrow being credited for 8 episodes could indicate that.

I wouldn't put a ton of stock into how many episodes actors are listed as being in on IMDb prior to the show's release. You often see people listed for full seasons, only to have that number edited if/when they depart from the show prior to the finale or if they miss episodes in between.
