Hand is A-OK, it looks like the plate on the bottom of the magazine shot off, breaking the lips that hold it in place, launching the spring and 6 rounds of .45 into the dirt

And that is why one should never use a cup and saucer grip with a pistol.

The dreaded teacup grip.
Which is exactly why my hand is fine  :laugh:

We don't even use it on an actual cup and saucer. That's how hardcore we are.

In the market for an AR15, deciding on a 5.56 or 300 blackout:



I've shot an AR15 300 Blackout, really nice with a Romeo5; also the 5.56 is heavier but I do like distance.

Get a 5.56 and a barrel to support the 300 and just swap it out when you want to switch it up.

Got an old Estwing for free. Cleaned her up on the grinder and she's good as new. Not a gun, but it might be my backup in the woods this fall.
