I remember back in the day being so excited for this game to the point where I got a PS2 just for this game. Of course we know the company that made it folded and the game never saw the light of day. Recently I wondered if the game exists out there in some form or another as I remember seeing the old  E3 footage of it.

But I never saw this footage that someone released back in 2017.

Which makes me wonder are there copies of this unfinished game/demo floating around in the world? I'm guessing the game didn't get very far, but I wonder just how playable it was.

It also sounds like they might have gotten Lance Henriksen to voice Bishop (or a just a decent sound a like)

This reminds me of Jurassic Park Survival, a game that looked playable but was never finished/released. I just wonder looking through gameplay like that how things would be different now of those kinds of things were successful.

Very sad to hear that,  but sadly, it's not that uncommon.

Efforts have been made by likes of GTW, Unseen64 etc to purchase and preserve code and footage of unreleased games before it's lost forever and inital contact is promising,  suddenly with no warning all contact stops .

That's too bad. Wonder if it's fear of legal action from the publisher/studio. Definitely would be neat to see how far along it came.

This became impossible to find info on during the release period of A:CM and i was worried it was lost forever. Thanks for this thread OP.

Glad to see the AI was pretty much the same in the 2013 version lol.

I hope somehow in the future there is a way to play cancelled video games if there isn't already.

I don't imagine they'd keep something like that in a way that it could be finished later on, just salvage bits of useful code for other projects and scrap the rest.
