Another look at some child actors in costume (and a bit of the film set in the background). These look to be kids living on the colony world with two sporting very crude home-spun garments while the other four seems to be wearing more modern, uniform-style overalls.

Maybe two different tribes.

I think the ones in the home-made clothing might be the original batch that were grown from the embryos and raised by the two droids. The others might be from a ship that arrives later carrying the adults we will see in the series.

According to IMDb, Luke Scott directed RBW Block 2 (consisting of 2 episodes).

Though I haven't found official confirmation anywhere else yet.

Luke Scott? I have bad feelings about it.

I suppose it kinda makes sense, Luke worked with Ross Emery (Block 2 DoP) on Alien: Covenant as well. I wasn't that impressed with the Last Supper short he directed or the two BR2049 prequel shorts either so don't know how he will fare here. Haven't seen Morgan either. Safe to say the series will probably take a bit of a dip in quality after the first two episodes with the second unit guys in charge now but it's ultimately the writing that will have to buoy-up the whole series.

I suspect TNT is trying to give the impression that Ridley Scott is directing the entire series since they have been absolutely mum on who the other directors will be. Their earlier press releases also gave the impression that it would all be directed by Riddles.

Nightmare Asylum

Morgan was terrible. But Luke (and any other directors) will likely just be aping the style already set by the first couple directors and the showrunner, so I'm not too worried about the show taking a dip quality-wise if it does start off strong.

Agreed, Scott and Seagers would have done most of the production design already so I'm sure that aspect at least would remain mostly consistent throughout. And as long as the writing is solid it should help to even things out even with the less experienced primary crew members now onboard.

Thanks for reassurance guys. If something goes wrong we can always blame Guzikowski :)

Another possible shooting location, the rather aptly named Misty Cliffs near Cape Point:

It's July and they're still shooting. Bloody hell, what a long journey. I envy them! :)

Yeah well, they started in mid-January and then took about a two months break after Scott finished with Block1.

Old quote from you saying it's 22 weeks:

22 weeks of shooting! Its more than 5 months.

The qualifying South African spend on production of Raised by Wolves, directed by Sir Ridley Scott, will be about R593 million, with a production shooting period of 22 weeks in 2019 and beyond on location in South Africa with the assistance of a South African company, Film Afrika Entertainment.

And they're still shooting...

Looks like they're shooting a misty forest scene again. I guess they're using beehive smoke to simulate fog and therefore the gasmask?

I bet they're gonna use this hawk for Merlin :)
