The movie has tanked. There will be no demand for Predator material anymore. That is why.

It didn't tank; that's just inaccurate. It's too early to tell whether it's gonna make its money back, but it's looking like it is. Maybe it's not the hit they wanted, but a complete commercial failure it is not. Now, creatively...
