I saw it on opening day in 1992 at the same theater where I saw Aliens (also on opening day).

Which version?

I like all three versions of the film.  Theatrical, Assembly, and workprint.

Happy birthday, Alien 3. This movie has many great scenes and dialogue, a fantastic score, a colossal sense of dread, and a fabulously tragic character in Clemens.

Still Collating...

Happy birthday Alien 3! To the movie with the best music score of the franchise IMO, greatest speeches and an Alien that survives molten led, I'm glad we got this movie out of the chaotic production. To me, this one has grown on me over the years even though I never really disliked it or thought of it as great. I appreciate what we got the more time goes by. It feels like such an important part of the franchise, for all of it's flaws.

The first Alien movie I ever saw and the movie that started my obsession. Saw it whilst having a sleep over with a school friend in 1995. I was 12 years old and it scared yet thrilled me and I haven't looked back since.
