The Spitter Caste from Alien: Colonial Marines is the King Alien?

Before I start my idea, let my start by saying I am NOT insinuating that Aliens are necesarily male or female (that is up to your discretion) nor am I trying to push a 'KING ALIEN CUZ WE NEED A MALE1!1!' even though I think the idea would be neat (although 'he' wouldn't necessarily be stronger than the Queen; Just look at Alien Rogue or compare figure sizes)

Anyways, I recently realized the 'Spitter' had a very...elaborate crest and tail design for what is considered a standard Caste (at least within the game's universe, which may or may NOT be 'canon') https://dyn0.media.forbiddenplanet.com/products/110.jpg.size-600_maxheight-600_square-true.jpg

Furthermore, the Kenner Alien Toy was given the ability to 'spit acid' (water sucked it by squeezing a special tail valve), and the Spitter's job is to, well, SPIT ACID (no sh*t sherlock)

While the Kenner!King doesn't have a noticeable tail, it is noted to, and I quote, 'appears to lack the ridge on the tail. Said tail 'spines' look remarkably similar to the Spitter caste's, and it doesn't have the classic bony ridge its compatriots do. In addition, the Hicks vs King Alien set portrays the 'King Alien' as being only ever slightly bigger than your run of the mill 'bug' (The maquette is a different story, but who knows) https://thefigureinquestion.files.wordpress.com/2014/10/hicksvsking1.jpg. Definitely within Spitter's most likely size range of 7-8 feet.

Maybe Hicks' King Alien was dubbed so because its crest is so like a Queen's, thus making them think 'It must be her counter-part, The King!' If the Spitter and 'Kenner!King' are one in the same, it would explain how the latter's impressive spitting abilities line up with the former's. It's cuz they're one and the same!

So, what are you guys' thoughts? You think there was some sort of inspiration from the design? Or just a crazy coincidence. I thought it nothing else it was fun to look up, and I want to hear your thoughts.

Subjects on Xenomorph Gender and AVP of a similar subjects can turn political-besides, I feel like I should respect other people's opinions.

You could be right, though I will say, they do indeed show that their are Males and Females, and it also probably depends on the species they come from sometimes.

The King Alien statue you showed actually is canon.   The Rogue was artificially created, but even then, don't forget before it had a fight with the Queen, it fought most the hive, killed everyone single one of the Praetorians it fought, it was also attacked and shot by humans.   It is not a good assessment to say the Queen is better as she was not harmed before the fight while the Rogue just went through a giant gauntlet of things out to kill it.

The King Alien statue you showed actually is canon. 

No it isn't. It was something Stan Winston Studios did for collectors, basically. It was just a neat idea they wanted to explore.

If it was up to me the rules would follow that of AVP Extinction although modified a little, the Spitter is a neat idea if not the best design. Now considering that the Runner for instance is fairly humanoid despite coming from a quadruped animal, I'd think it reasonable that like the Runner in AVPE it doesn't develop into another form, but would be spawned similarly.

If tough bovines produce Runners or Dogs do.
I would think considering the Spitter is essentially a more extreme version of the Runner, focused on range rather than speed (They're both the only Aliens shown to spit acid.) That it would be spawned from something like a Kurn or a Predator Blood Hound, considering that the immense amount spikes both creatures have that the Spitter also has.

In short no;
I believe it's a hybrid form, unlike the Praetorian/Pure Facehugger that would produce a Queen.

Human = Drone
Human (Near Queen) = Warrior
Bovine = Runner
Hound = Spitter
