All the accent stuff aside and her accent was a little weird to me, the problem was some of her lines landed with an almighty thud. That's down to acting for me. She does all the characters in peril stuff pretty well but when it comes to emoting it fell flat for me and didn't feel real.
Dozens of films feature actors doing accents that aren't native to them and they have delivered terrific performances.
Although, as I have said before, she was given some pretty clunky lines to deliver, as did many of the cast.
