Poor Lambert.

See, I knew that's what happened.

Canon.
Lambert's final moments are left to the imagination. How can an artist's interpretation (her death) be considered canon?

If the space jockeys are just large naked men, why not?

The Space Jockey thing (unfortunately) is now canon because the director says so.

The artist's interpretation of an offscreen death, is just that - his interpretation - and solely that.

Its funny how throwing that word always guarantees one replies. AVPGalaxy's trigger word. Oh my. We should call it the C word.

Clearly Ridley's goal with that was to motivate alien fans to get gains like the engineers. Heck so I'm like the representation of Ridley's will on these forums. Canon.

Clearly it was workout motivation.

"Hust thou eben doist?"

Indeed.

Ridley was trying to make up for not lifting when he was younger by motivating us to do it. Make him proud on that leg day boys. #squatforRidley #engineergains

Samhain13 was just trolling but actually it depends entirely on what this is for really. It's for something official, not Tristan just having a muck around, then this might be what TPTB consider happening.

Then how did her legs end up swinging from the ceiling?

They're not. That's a low angle shot, they're on something.

If I could've done this idea sequentially, you'd see. It's... unpleasant. Imagine something curling its way inside you then unfurling very rapidly and essentially breaking you apart from the inside out.

In the film she's most likely swinging off one of the hooks you see hanging off the ceiling holding up the suits. Parker grabs one before trying to jump the Alien.

The sequential version -- does the Alien take her boots and pants off before or after the curling inside? I can't think which is worse.

And that's the reaction Samhain was looking for. ;D

If you look at the goriest panel I did in Defiance, you'll see why a boot and even sock might go astray.

Still, I only really go by what I see in the film... and given the time you see her in ISOLATION isn't necessarily CANON (though clever)... it's pretty free to interpretation. I mean...

Anyway, you want to see how she died*, bug Dark Horse to let me do my ALIEN: DESOLATION book...  ;)

*according to my imagination

On the one hand I don't (showing it will always weaken the horror of the moment; running through dark corridors, hearing a friend die, not knowing what's happening but knowing it's bad -- you lose the psychological aspect when you just see it laid out for you), but on the other I'm always down to see more of your art. Point me in the direction to bug :D

For the greater good, Dark Horse needs to let you draw another Alien comic. (would not complain for a predator or AvP one as well...)

So the alien impaled her with its tail and then turned it into a blender as if to make a Lambert smoothie?

It's like that bit in The Last Boy Scout where Bruce Willis threatens to shove an umbrella up the guy's ass and open it.
