The 10 minutes of #AlienCovenant unveiled are in any case better than #Prometheus

I think the French journalists know the date for the trailer. One fella is saying he's waiting to see if they're allowed to say.

Considering how Xeno Fifield looks I don't have high hopes for the execution, to be honest.

Are you a pessimist? If the rumour about 200 millions budget is true then A:C is 60-70 millions more expensive than Prometheus. It's more money to spend and make sure things will work. Prometheus was sometimes a bit cheesy in terms of designing department. But now they've got new production designer. New blood. Guys who worked on Mad Max as well. And regarding Xenos, it's not like we won't see practical effects. Yes we will. Everything will depend on the shots. Close ups will have non-CGI Aliens. I'm pretty sure.

I am quite frustrated by this news

You and me are hardcore fans of the Alien universe. It is entitled to nothing at all in terms of trailer or date for us. While random journalists, casual fans have the privilege of watching excerpts and movie trailer ..

I recognize a jealousy towards those who have seen the film.

Otherwise off topic :
A Frenchman who saw the film said that there is a great massacre in the excerpt but that this massacre is not perpetrated by those we think

Feel the same. Random people have seen it already. Not like all of them are not Alien fans but still ...

I've caved. I was pretty content and almost patient, but I'm f**king desperate for the trailer now! I reckon we'll not only get the trailer, but a plethora of surprises next week. Website, a viral, THE TRAILER. The reaction sounds terrific but it's making the wait seem like forever.

"The rating R is deserved, it remains and massacre has turn of arms ... but the twist is that the bulk of the carnage does not come from who it is believed"

He mentioned 3 films but I think he talks about alien covenant

No, I just really like creature suits.

Me too. But sometimes using old-school methods doesn't work. We will have both practical stuff and CGI. Everything depends on what works better for the movie itself. Besides according to press reactions new footage and trailer contain CGI-light.
