For you French speakers.

QuotePredator Holocaust takes place in Poland in 1940, a father and his daughter escaped Auschwitz are chased by a group of SS.
They sink into the nearest forest, but very fast the Germans sent to get back them are confronted with one thing which WILL slaughter them one by one : THE PREDATOR.

Interesting. I know there was one made that was set in the Pacific theater that I actually enjoyed.

Bughunter S. Thomson

Hmm... I always get uneasy when material takes real life events like the Holocaust and interweaves them with Sci-fi... like Magneto in a concentration camp and trying to save JFK from assassination. I don't know, it feels a bit exploitative and cheap. Watching the video he talks more about the Holocaust than the actual Predator itself.

It's funny you mention that as I literally just read an article about Gene Roddenberry's unused idea for Star Trek 2 where Spock ends up killing JFK.

They've been sharing some behind-the-scenes stuff on their Facebook page and have just released their poster too.

It could be really cool. The pictures they posted looked good IMO. Do we have a release date ? I didn't find any.

That title is absolutely tasteless and the plot doesn't sound much better. It'd be one thing if they had anything whatsoever to say about the Holocaust, but since the plot is gonna boil down to "space monster killin' nazis," I very much doubt they do. If they want to do a fun, gory story where the Predator kicks ass for 20 minutes, fine, but don't explicitly invoke a subject like friggin' Auschwitz unless you're prepared to take it seriously.

Corporal Hicks

Still dubious about the title, mind you, but they've been making movement on the film.

Not watched it yet but it's out >>
