Well lets face it, avp2 is an incredibly cheap game. People just want to camp, spam and use every dirty trick they can to get some kills, it also happens to be quite imbalanced.

So the aim of this mod is to make avp2 a much more skill-based game and to narrow the gap between different species.

In the filosophy of this mod the best alien, predator and human players would perform equally in game, instead of the current human domination.
To achieve this major gameplay features where added making the game more aim-based so weapon spamming becomes useless. The speed of the game is also improved dramatically, with every character having its own speed tricks in order to move much faster than normal.

Gameplay changes:

Marines / Corporates:

Normal run/walk/crouch speed
Speed Hopping is allowed to gather speed
head and neck nodes damage multiplyer is reduced, no longer allowing 1 headshot kill with small caliber bullets
Fall height to receive damage is greater

Marines / Corporate Weapons:

Explosives do much more impact damage and a lot less splash damage
Some marine weapons switch instantly
"cheap" weapons are nerfed
explosions are much smaller

Knife:
Dmage is greatly improved
Instant weapon switching

Pistol:

Unchanged

Shotgun:
pellets in normal fire do less damage and scatter less
slug damage is reduced so drone can survive more than 1 shot, runner is still 1 shot kill

Pulse Rifle:
bullet damage is reduced
Stagger is maintained
grenades do more direct hit damage but much less splash damage
Instant weapon switching
added tracers

Grenade launcher:
NO proxy mines
NO EMP
No spider mines
only normal grenades
grenades do more direct hit damage but much less splash damage

FlameThrower:
Carries more ammo but needs reload at every 50 units
Direct flame on target damage is doubled
Flame burns target for less time
Instant weapon switching

Smartgun:
bullet damage is reduced
Needs reload every 150 bullets

Sadar:
Completely new weapon concept similar to quake
fires faster
holds 30 rockets
rockets do more damage on direct hit but much less splash damage
Instant weapon switching

Minigun

Less bullet damage
added tracers
more recoil
more bullet spread

Sniper:
bullet damage is cut in half
Instant weapon switching


Predators:


Normal run/walk/crouch speed
Can Speed hop much faster
head and neck nodes damage multiplyer is increased allowing headshots but no "1 hit kills"
melee weapons do a lot more damage
speargun and bombs decloak to discourage pred camping

Wristblades:
damage is greatly increased

Spear:
damage is greatly increased

Pistol:
No splash damage
Doesnt stun anyone just disables MT, cloack and flashlight

Speargun:

More damage
Projectiles travel faster and are larger in size
Tri-shot damage is reduced
Makes preds decloack

Shoulder Cannon:
Plasma bolts go straigh forward but sill auto-aim
Plasma bolt effect is changed to a flare making it more realistic
Direct hit damage is increased but splash damage is reduced

Netgun:
Fires slower
Nets travel faster

Bombs:

Makes preds decloack
Direct hit damage is increased but splash damage is reduced

Medkit/Energy regenerator thing:
faster



Aliens:
Much higher speed
Crouching and wall-walking are used to spring
Speed Hopping is allowed to gather speed
head and neck nodes damage multiplyer is reduced, no longer allowing 1 headshot kill with small caliber bullets
aliens can use walls to gather speed and leap without pouncing
added air control so now movement change mid-air is possible
different aliens have different attack styles
Aliens can no longer stunn 100% of the times. Stunning happens based on how tough the target is and how much health it has

Predalien:
Pounce based attack and movement
Pounce does more damage and has more range
Can speed hop
faster walk and wall-walk speeds

Runner:
Speed based attack and movement
Pounce does less damage and has 0 range so its basically a melee attack
Can speed hop
faster walk and wall-walk speeds
Can gather speed on walls
wall speed jumping is added and can replace pounce as a means of travel

Drone:
Mixed attack and movement
Can speed hop
faster walk and wall-walk speeds
Can gather speed on walls
wall speed jumping is added and can replace pounce as a means of travel

Praetorian:
Can speed hop

Queen:
Much faster
Can speed hop
Tail does a lot more damage and is basically 1 hit kill for everyone





I may have forgot some other stuff i change but as for now i think this describes well the spirit of the mod.
As it is now i need people to test this thing as im unsure if some stuff is imbalanced.
