Woke up with a sore throat today. There's been something going around work so worried I've picked that up.  :'(

^Hicks' immune system seems to be vulnerable :(

On Monday, the neurologist gave me news:

Spoiler
Next Monday I get a complete EKG, and a Holter monitor for 48 hours. Then on 10/2, I get a EEG and a brain MRI. After discussing the events of what happened, she thinks it could have been panic attacks, but it is very strange that I had side effects, including chest thightness and sob. She thinks it maybe cardiovascular related. Joy.

Funnily enough...yeah, I'm in charge again for most of the week. I'm usually acting up, just never done a whole month before.

So I got new glasses but they turned out to give me worse vision in both eyes compared to a pair I've had for a decade. In one eye it was especially obvious. The thing that actually made me not just mad, but frustrated, was when I went to return them. They refused to tell me the prescription that my old glasses had despite being told that they knew what the prescription was.

Angina and SOB are fairly common side effects of panic attacks (same as diaphoresis and secondary GI distress).  So, if this is a little ray of hope, it could have very well been just a bad panic attack.  But you're doing good in getting that EKG done and using the Holter.  I hope for the best for you, but you never know if there's something brewing that can be nipped in the bud, so to speak.  Better to be safe than sorry!

I have many.

Not just the fact that you're teetering on the brink of violent insanity.

You're a reluctant leader, which makes you ideal for the task.   You have no desire for power over others and that means you're the ideal leader.  You don't relish power or authority, but you accept responsibility grudgingly and are eager to surrender it but only to someone who is already proven as worthy.

You're Cincinnatus.  You're Optimus Prime.  You truly are Corporal Hicks.  In short, you're the manager that I always wish I had.
