Besides the obvious visual difference, I think the game is the same on all platforms.

If its true that the alien is immortal, I doubt there's any AI behind it rather than some scripts.

It hugely depends on the ability of CA. Anyone that doubts the PS3 should take one look at the Last of Us, brilliant graphics, smooth gameplay and short loading times.

If you really look at the AI graphics, well, I don't think they are that amazing. There are some nice lighting effects, but I think the actual graphical quality of the game is good, but not really next gen. However I do think that the level design and attention to detail of the 1970s future really helps to compensate for this giving overall a very good experience.

My point being I think it should still look very good on last gen.

Good FOR the PS3 at least.

I don't have any experience with the Xbox, but it has some high quality games so I'm sure it will be in a similar position.

I was talking about the Last of Us. The PS3 and 360 are pretty even when it comes to multiplatform games with the 360 barely edging it out.

Different engines. TLOU engine is built solely for the PS3 hardware. Its made to utilize its otherwise hard-to-code-on architecture very well. A:I is using engine that have to run on every platform out there so it have to be easy to port. Which means poor usage of the hardware capabilities, especially on the bitch CPU that the PS3 has. Have you seen Wolf: The New Order on 360/PS3? Well, I am willing to think that A:I will look even worse.
