Prometheus 2 Writer Found

A new writer has been found for the planned Prometheus sequel, to be directed by Ridley Scott.

The Alien helmer will work from a script by veteran writer Peter Barsocchini, reveal The Hollywood Reporter. Fox was said to have been struggling to find a writer recently.

British director Scott has been tight-lipped about his second film, with the remake shrouded in secrecy.

Barsocchini has a number of scripts in development. He previously penned several films for Disney and Buena Vista.

There's no word on when Prometheus 2 will now go into production.

Yes that was an April Fools. Fox have not hired the creator of High School Music to write Prometheus 2. :p
