SPOILERS: Medpod

To me what killed the scene (save for the squid) was the use of music.
The scene should have played only with Shaw's breathing, screams, the sound of flesh being cut, robot arms moving and squid squishy sound effects.
WAY MORE intense like that.
Thats it.

Thought the medpod scene was ok, though it did make my 29 weeks pregnant GF squirm a little, especially since my boy was kicking constantly from the movies duration

If they hadn't shown or hinted at any of the sequence, then I might've been shocked. I guess I was affected in a way because my pregnant fiance was sitting by my side But what shocked me more was what the marketing revealed, which was nigh-on everything.
