As some one who has to wait a grueling 6 days before release, I've been engrossed in the passion behind everyone's opinions. What Prometheus seems to be succeeding at, is getting everyone talking, whether it's in disappointment or elation. This film doesn't seem to leave everyone to quickly. People are still processing it, thinking about it, trying to understand it. To me, maybe that's the sign of a successful film to some degree. As an artist, even art I end up not like, if it's well made, leaves a lasting impression, which proves tha maybe the artist succeeded?
Just a theory. It's great to keep reading so many different view points.
