House M.D
Season 4, 5, 6

The Teardrop version of the opening's introduction is fantastic.

There's been talk of a new Blackadder season.
I wonder if Hugh Laurie will return.

Eh, I don't think I want to see Blackadder back (again). They brought back Only Fools and Horses and it was crap.

Yep.  Leave it alone, plus we'll never get to see Flashheart return

Finished Yankee.
It certainly wasn't perfect. Writing's a bit weak and predictable at times but overal pretty good and quite addictive.
And most of the women. Me gusta mucho.

Finished House M.D
Season 7 & 8.
Unexpected twists,
consistently solid Directing and Writing.
Apart from a rare occurrence of unfortunate of it's time Gender identity related dialogue.
Good ending.
It's a great character study and no wonder Hugh Laurie's the highest paid actor for Television circa 2004-2012.

The most distressing show I've seen for years. Absolutely excellent.

Finally started Deadwood. Had a buddy pestering me to watch it for literally years. I owe him an apology for not starting sooner. It's fantastic.

I hear nothing but good things so I guess I'll have to check it out at least.

It "IS" fantastic! A 5 Star Show  ;D

Walter Hill directed the 1st episode.

Be prepared for a lack of sleep. It's hard not to binge watch.

How's the overall presentation of the show?

Anything negative? Cheap looking? Cheesy dialogue?

Nothing of note just yet. It's actually very well done. It reminds me a lot of Homeland in tone and visuals actually. I always associate the role of Ryan with Harrison Ford (who was playing a far older Jack Ryan than Krasinski is). That said Krasinski can pass for a younger Ford if that makes sense.

Wendell Pierce is a far more hard hitting and tougher Greer too (I always think of James Earl Jones in that role too).
