Predators slaughtering humans in AvP

The minute the Predators see the humans step onto the floor panel that wakes up the queen down below, they start running. Where are they in a hurry to go? Why would that make them rush? ....

The Predators started running towards the humans once the weapons were taken from the sarcophagus, which started the pyramid shifting stage of the ritual.

Yup and that is also when the eggs popped up into the chamber above right? That's how I thoight it went.

There was no massive inconsistency until AvP created one.

But then mayee they grow faster in hosts who are devoid of blood...

AVP has about the same amount of (human) blood as Aliens.

Which is to say not a lot, but again, it's not inconsistent with the franchise.

The blood when Ferro is killed and when the colonist bursts is way more than AvP (which granted isn't saying much).  Rousseau and Exposition Boy were utterly laughable.
