AvPGalaxy AvP2 Game Night!

It's something I've been wanting to do for a while and now we're ready to roll it out. As of this week, we'll be doing weekly AvP related game nights, with this weeks being in AvP2. Thanks to Brother and his connections, we have secured the use of [R]SG-2 EVAC [D] v5.0b2 for our first social.

To start with, for AvP2, we'll only be using standard maps but as the night gets more popular, we may start introducing customer maps into the equation. I shall be posting up a schedule for the next while after the weekend.

Brother will be on soon to announce some server rules and etc.

So don't forget! Our first game night is Saturday 24/04/10. It beings at 6pm GMT and will be taking place on the server [R]SG-2 EVAC [D] v5.0b2. Obviously the game mode will be Evac.

Stargate Command Clan is happy to assist with the Galaxy Gamenights.

The idea is to have fun with friends. A few simple rules - good behavior, no spamming, no spawn killing..

If we get enough people who have the UMP2 or are willing to DL it  we can also try some custom maps.

Hard Core Evac - Marines vs Aliens.
ALL Marines must reach the Evacuation Point.
Restricted Weapons - Pistols, Flamethrowers, ShotGuns Only.  Alien Stun Disabled.
Standard Maps including  Fury151, Gauntlet, Hanger and Alley.

SG_CMD Clan (SG-2) are looking forward to this and many future gamenights with AVP Galaxy to come.

I'd like to thank everyone who turned up and to the Stargate Command clan for offering the use of their Evac server. I had some fun games and certainly hope to see more of us there next time.

I'm going to try organizing an AvPClassic night for next week (via Steam and the Steam version of the game). Then on, we'll probably rotate between games and game modes.

Not sure if I've tried absolutely everything, but rest assured that I really regret missing the opportunity to ghost the hell out of the server.

You got the latest version of the mod and the last AvP2 patch? Try re-installing both.

Right guys, I've scheduled an event on the AvPGalaxy Fans Steam group for our first AvP2000 game. The server will be AvPGalaxy, it'll be 8pm GMT again.

Sorry guys, my internet connection died. I messaged another member of staff to take care of it but I don't know if it's happened. Regardless, I'm going to be sorting out a schedule with the SG clan soon and will post it up ASAP. It will mostly be AvP2 nights, I think.

Why doesn't Galaxy have a T3 AVP2 Server ? always wanted to know this....  Darkness has this site and forum...  pretty sure he can shell out for a T3 server for AVP2 aswell lol.. or you hick shell out some of your cash lol..
