The other day I found my old Amiga A1200 and after I connected it back up I found alot of games that used to be my favourites on it like Jurassic Park, the Alien Breed series, Brutal Football, Worms and of course Alien 3. I remember playing through those like it was yestreday, is there anyone else that played the Amiga version of Alien 3? I think it was similar to the other versions on other platforms.

Speaking of which, yesterday I got the chance to play A3 on a real life Mega Drive. I saw and brought the cartridge even though I didn't have a mega drive but took it round to a mates yesterday and played on it!!!

SNES Alien 3 is one of my favorite video games ever.  In fact, it's one of the reasons I became such a huge fan of the franchise in the first place.  Incredible title.  I wasn't as big on the Genesis version though.  The whole tight-time-contraint/rescue the prisoners setup got a little monotonous and too tough at times.  Would've been nice to have a save feature.

Screenshots of the Amiga version make it look like it's the same as the Genesis title.

I liked the SNES version too but like you said the setup was a little repetitive and I though the stages all looked a little too similar, I like the "mother" alien though its too bad you couldnt actually fight the queen.

Probably the most hillarious part of the game is when you run out of time and it goes around showing all the prisioners dying from the chestbursters Lol :)
