Possible AVP Extinction 2???

Could this game be an RTS style that follows AVP Extinction?  I know I had heard talk of that idea, could this be it?

I doubt it. Rebellion are pretty much synonymous with FPS games, just like Monolith.

I wouldn't mind AVP Extinction 2 RTS.  First game was fun to play building an alien army especially.

could it be like fallout 3 an RPG game, do wont say quests but tasks for either species u are and then when getting water for ur alien queen find a predator and kill it...something like that, or just ur normal simple set out levels with no replay value after you've completed it once.

I heard that possibilitiy on other forums.  Planet AVP and other ones I found on search engines.  Just as refferences.  Also here for an AVP Extinction 2 wishlist, so maybe this game could be it.

It's a thought, but for a home console, I would preffer to see an "AVP @ (PC game)" style game.

I never played extinction but I am so fed up with RTS games that I can't even get myself to try Starcraft 2... I stopped playing RTS after W3 and lived happily ever after. 

And no, I was a bit tempted by SupCom but after reading a few reviews... I gave up on RTS.

So I'm most glad that the chances for this turning out to be an RTS are very low.

Yeah, I would preffer an FPS, and as I hear it I believe it follows after AVP 2 (PC).  I could be wrong, but that is what people are talkin about as of now.
