Sebastian was in his way. I dont remember anyone else having the gun but the preds killed them, its because they were in its way.

Who?  Bass and Stone were armed.  Stafford was armed.  Weyland had a crack at Scar with his makeshift flamethrower.  I dunno about all of Quinn's team but some were armed I think.. Everyone else get nailed by Aliens. The only unarmed person was Sebastian who was with someone who'd nicked a Predator gun.

As I concluded this code of honor does not matter at all in blooding rituals...either that, or they were trying to get away with it. So two answers that solve the mystery as to why they did what they did.

What i was trying to say was, the pred was trying to kill sebastian cause he was in the way of the pred getting its gun. (the Cannon)
