Well, his work with AVP and AVP-R put the franchise on life support,
Now, when some time has passed by and we start to accept what he did with the creatures,
I feel like it's better to pull the plug, let it die with some dingnty it had left thanks to the movies that came before it.
Eventually someone will pick it up and give it a rebirth, someone who has some understanding about the creatures and the role the characters played in the previous movies.
If a team up must take place then have it be done right way.
I voted maybe, cause it's all up to the writer and what he thinks is cool, his favorite movie might have been independece day and maybe he would like to put stuff from that movie in it, like haveing Aliens invade earth in giant space ships, were the hull resembles hive structure, the first wave would be to bombard big citys with eggs and hours later land these ships, takeing care of any opposision that might remain.
The global warming had reached it's peak, it's hot, almost every were. Humans and Aliens are at war and this is when the Predators arrive, and what they find is their big wet dream...it's hunting season.
Cool for some and a nightmare for others...
