I agree, but now he wants to direct The Mandalorian season two.

I think if you read between the lines, what's more likely is a journo has thought - how do i get a story, asked if Ryan would like to Direct The Mandalorian, and he's said yes ( cause what else is he gona say).

Can we remember to tone down the antagonist and superior attitudes. It'd be much appreciated.

I would say Highland nailed it on the Rian Johnson interview.

On the flip side, I shudder to think of what would transpire.

The whole "They fly now?!" thing seems pretty silly considering he has a crush on a space wizard and routinely travels the galaxy in mere moments.

The thing I absolutely can't wait to see is what the heck the hundreds of Imperial Star Destroyers are about. Those shots look awesome, and I'm a sucker for big space battles.

Can we remember to tone down the antagonist attitudes.......

My bad.

.......and superior attitudes.

Damn. Maybe I should have used the description superior attitudes instead of fanboy absolutism to tone down my antagonistic delivery. I'll have to remember that the next time I encounter fanboy absolutis........er, I mean superior attitudes.

There's a list in the making. The top ten greatest big space battles.

My list might include the Star Trek fleet vs. the Borg mother ship.

I would imagine that, if it were to transpire, he would be given a script and he would more likely than not direct the hell out of it, as he did with Fly, Fifty-One, and Ozymandias.
I would hope so if he was given the script. I really liked Looper. Ive never watched Breaking Bad. I work around drug dealers all the time, so shows like that or prison based I don't watch often.

So in my perspective he's 50/50 and the bad one was pretty bad.

True, Order 66 not being on there is a pretty big omission.

Jason Ward from MakingStarWars.net has exclusive info on how Colin Trevorrow's Episode IX would have played out, and if any of this is remotely true, I am honestly glad that he was let go from the film.
