I needed a change, and so far I feel good with my short hair.    

I'm personally over an year now.

I've never let mine grow out, generally after about day four or five of not shaving the stubble itches my face to bad and I have to shave it off.

I had a zz top beard for about 3 years and I don't miss it.

I can only make it about 3 days before it drives me up the wall.

I have chicken pox scarring all over my face, so even though in basic training I had to shave twice a day because of my five o clock shadow, when it grows out it doesn't actually fill out because of said scarring, so it looks nappy as f**k.
