Okay just wanted to do my own poll of the sites reaction to the movie. I don't trust the one on the main page.

I'd say it's easily the poorest movie in both franchises, but somehow still entertaining for hardcore fans at times.

Thought it was really good, best to worst, here is my order of the films, and I am going by the longer/preferred versions of the films

1. Aliens - perfect, next to no flaws
2. Predator - perfect, same as above
3. Alien - near perfect, some minor pacing issues
4. AVP-R - very good, some minor flaws
5. Alien 3 - good, has flaws, but is a worthy sequel
6. Predator 2 - good, has flaws, but is a worthy sequel
7. AVP - average, has its moments, but not enough to make it good
8. A:R - average, has its moments, but not enough to make it good

Thats my whole take, those with the same descriptions aren't really in an order, I can't pick between Aliens and Predator or Alien 3 and Predator 2

I was going to vote "shit smear", but admittedly there were a few things I kinda liked. It's easily the worst film in my view.

I really enjoyed it, a few problems, but nothing to get mad about.

That's more or less how I felt. Had an entertaining time. More of a fun film with monsters in it, than anything else.

In terms of rating them, it depends if we're talking about sheer entertainment value or how much of a 'classic' they are. I'm more entertained by the first 'Alien Versus Predator' than 'Alien 3', for instance, but if we're talking about artistic value, I'd reverse that, because the latter is much more superficial than the former is.
