Do you know the physics of plasma? I've never seen any video game with plasma machine guns. And if they do, the game is already farfetched anway.

Could it be the fact that the Wolf Predator wanted to use a whip so it can finish off an Alien easily? Because from the looks of it, the whip was heavily barbed and can easily dice an Alien in one go.

Which is why I mentioned things being far fetched. I don't see many people fighting Hell.

And I could already imagine if a unfortunate human gets caught in a Predator's whip, it's going to be an instantaneous death. And if his hand is wrapped tightly by the whip, then, the hand would be ripped off instead but may die of blood loss.
