With the right amount of photoshop work this could look pretty nice.

Yeah using that on it would look wicked.

This, imo, is an example of a good movie poster... http://www.allposters.com/gallery.asp?startat=/getposter.asp&APNum=420836&CID=125E3DD33EAA410C96E8AB3A534AC125&PPID=1&search=hellboy&f=c&FindID=19984&P=1&PP=1&sortby=PD&cname=Hellboy+%282004%29&SearchID=

Now, take that image, and replace Hellboy with the Predator. Same lighting. Move him to the left a bit, and add this... http://www.impawards.com/2004/posters/alien_vs_predator_ver1.jpg  to the background. Bam, a cool looking poster. That my opinion of course.

Also, just take the good 'ol Alien 3 poster http://thecia.com.au/reviews/a/images/alien-3-poster-0.jpg and replace the baby queen with a baby predalien, and then on top of it, put the 3 lights from preds targeting system. That would be cool looking, and symbolic.  Also, for the love of God, please loose that GAY photoshop metal looking title they keep using for AVP2, it's so 1998 photoshop. Blah.

If I know Fox as well as I think I do, it's going to be one version with the Alien and another with the Predator cover, the same ones as the wallpapers that only show half their faces. For the Special Edition, I'm hoping it will be the one-sheet poster (2nd one), but most likely, will be something completely different.

EDIT: Oh right, there's a predalien now. Maybe three versions  ::)

Fox should have a fan art contest to make a DVD cover.

I wouldn't mind the Alien/Predator on the globe if it was treated like a special edition. With a solid black casing with just the Alien/Predator earth graphic and the interior be a fold out of sorts for the discs and any supplimental printed matter. Nothing more than a pipe dream though.

no, that pic is horrible. The Alien looks like a $50.00 toy from Toys R Us.
Although, some would agree that that pic sums up the movie pretty nicely.  ;)
I think it could be touched up a bit.

They should just redesign it. The unrated dvd of AVP1 has the best cover of any other of it's dvds in my opinion.
