Title: Mermaid in a Manhole
Post by: RakaiThwei on Mar 12, 2007, 08:05:34 PM
Yeah, exactly what the title says. Produced by the now banned in Japan film makers known as Za Ginnipigu (Guinea Pig), Mermaid in a Manhole is supposed to be the most grotesque, horror fantasy film there is today aside from Flower of Flesh and Blood.

Now I'm just wondering... does anyone have any clips of the movie, not counting youtube.com, of course.

Why are they banned in Japan? Well because in Japan, the special effects crew had made most of their films look like snuff films, even though no one was killed and it was all smoke in mirrors. I think the film Flower of Flesh and Blood was what got Ginuea Pig films banned in Japan...

Charlie Sheen also mistook one of their films as a real snuff film when it was just actors and special effects.

Same as Cannibal Holocaust.
