There hasn't been a lot of talk about What DLC could come out for Aliens Dark Descent, so maybe this topic would help to spice some new cool ideas.
More story DLC would be nice, but have no idea how long it would take for them to make it. This doesn't have to be DLC, but a simple Skirmish mode would be nice. Not too hard to fudge it buy going to an already completed map, setting up sentries near your APC and triggering onslaughts, but something that's more specifically made for this would be great.
some more of that one guy from the first trailer whom suddenly isn't heard of much in the game. Seemed to me he would have had to play an important part to have such a bold appearance to introduce the game in the first place.
I would absolutely freaking love it if we get a DLC we can play as the aliens.
Has there been any mention of DLC so far? Surprised there is no "Season Pass" or Deluxe Editions available.

There's only been one DLC that came out and that was a while ago there hasn't been any new DLC announced yet

Wouldn't that be like an unpolished game mode like AFTE's Horde Mode without objectives? really? You really want that?

Maybe they should just recolour and reskin everything with a touch of orange and make it free. and a change all the text to add ascii characters for emotional context. And give everyone eyepatches to elicit fanfare for those who love eye patches!?

I'd love to see some more story content for the game. We talked about prequel story to do with the WY forces in our recent interview with Thibaut. I'd love to see them continue the story after the fact and learn more about Cassandra.
Ideally, I'd love some sort of scenario or map-maker.
Alien Campaign as DLC!
Yes please, The last time we get to play as the xenomorph in this style was AvP Extinction, f**king two decades ago
I think it'd need a bit of tweaking because the stress mechanic wouldn't work, and that's half the atmosphere and Alien feel of the game.
I would love to see a mode for playing the Aliens, but I really don't see that happening. :'(
Any story DLC is my first wish, but some fun modes would be great as well. like that mission with the defense of the Otago. Make a whole mode around that, a bit denser with the enemies and there you go.

I think the game could have used spitters also. It would make the sentry guns a little more vulnerable.
If we are going story DLC the first most obvious thing would be delving into the psychic link shown in the campaign and somehow utilizing that as playable feature in the game.
I'd like to have a DLC that enables us to control the vehicles. The vehicles would be used to fight the xenomorphs. Drones would be fun, too. The maps would have wide halls, outdoors and other things that the vehicles would fit in.
I'd also like a ground level view for screenshot purposes.
They could do some kind of prequel campaign, a side-quel with a "forgotten" mission during the events of the game, or what happened to the ship later.
Or if they are lazy, just new weapons and perks.
What about a continued ending like in the movies? Cassandra is carrying an alien that bursts out, Mako and some few surviving soldiers must wake up and combat the threat aboard Otago.
When Hick did an interview with one of the writers for the game, after launch, I didn't get the impression that the game had any DLCs in plan unfortunately. And if they wanted to make them, they should've been on it and know of it by that point knowing how long things take to make.
Were they not expecting success, or was the game expensive to make, I don't know. But if Fireteam Elite is getting a sequel probably, this game deserves to get one as well. I wanna see these mechanics in more stories.
If they had no plans and there's no resources, they could at least do some cosmetics.
Has anything changed in regard to news about DLC? I want a reason to come back to the game.
