I live in Miami, the Messi stuff has the city excited in ways I've never seen. It's bigger than the addition of LeBron James to the Heat 13 years ago and that was a seismic event.

American's are doing an excellent job with their soccer league and their national team in this few last year's. They might not be on the level of European or South American leagues but they are growing very well, and they will grow much more with the arrive of Messi to the Inter Miami

I used to hear people talk about Miami as a city to live in retirement and full of old people. That changed. Many young people (especially the Californians) moved to Miami.
