All this talk about Scott's films placing the origin of the Alien species in the future has me worried. They work best, IMO, as something terrifyingly primordial that's been lurking beyond the darkness waiting for us for eons, and have laid waste entire worlds in bygone eras.
It does ask the question of the continuity of the derelict space jockey in Alien if it is totally new.
But perhaps what some suggest that David is only recreating what the engineers did... Though what we call a Xeno is spawned inside a human
